Childhood is an integral part of becoming a fulfilled adult. Between those periods to teenage years, many African kids are exposed to stories and routines that rob them of the pleasures of being kids. Relatively, sometimes this “Forceful Maturity” is subtle; other times it is banal. Many of these societal/global glaring issues are

• Parental negligence to content consumed by African kids
• Child Labour
• Child Pornography
• Exposing kids to content with harmful slurs
• Limitation of possible career paths
• Portrayal of the African child as the hungry as poor and wretched
